In production, it must be emphasized that the safety performance of products such as grounding continuity, electrical strength, and leakage current must be inspected one by one. In the order contract, the product name and specification, operating voltage, main performance indicators, sampling method, statistics of defects, and judgment of qualified batches should be indicated for inspection.

Electric rice cookers are products subject to the import and export (safety) quality licensing system respectively. Foreign enterprises must obtain the import safety and quality license issued by the National Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau in accordance with regulations, and affix the corresponding logo on the product. Can be imported; domestic enterprises must obtain an export quality license issued by the State Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau before they can produce export products.

The inspection standards for rice cookers are: GB4706.6-95 "Special Requirements for Safe Automatic Rice Cookers for Household and Similar Electrical Appliances", JB/T8308-95 "Automatic Rice Cookers", the main inspection items are as follows:

1. Electrical insulation performance: The rice cooker must have sufficient electrical insulation, and the insulation between the live part and the metal casing should be able to withstand a voltage withstand test of 50Hz AC voltage (1500V in cold state, 1000V in hot state) for 1 minute. Breakdown and flashover phenomena occur. Thermal insulation resistance should not be lower than 1MΩ.

2. Tide state test: The moisture state test of the rice cooker, in a constant temperature and humidity box with a temperature of 40±2°C and a relative humidity of 95±3%, under the condition of non-condensing, after 48 hours of continuous placement, its moisture state Insulation resistance should not be lower than 0.5MΩ. The tidal withstand voltage should be able to withstand AC 1000V for 1 minute without breakdown or flashover.

3. Grounding resistance: The rice cooker should have a grounding wire, and the resistance from the end of the grounding wire to the exposed metal shell should not be greater than 0.2Ω.

4. Temperature control performance: The temperature control element of the rice cooker should be able to accurately control the temperature to ensure that the cooking temperature works at 103±2℃. The automatic heat preservation element should work when the rice is cooked and cooled to 65±5℃. The insulation element should still work normally after 1000h at the working temperature.

5. Thermal efficiency: The thermal efficiency of the rice cooker should not be less than 70% when tested indoors with an ambient air temperature of 23±5°C. The test method is carried out according to the method specified in the standard.

6. Lifespan: When used at rated voltage, the lifespan of the rice cooker should not be less than 1000 hours.

7. Leakage current: The cold leakage current should not be greater than 0.5mA, and the tidal leakage current should not be greater than 1mA.

In addition, there are certain requirements for the power deviation of the rice cooker, the length, cross-sectional area and color of the power cord. The appearance quality of the rice cooker, electroplating parts, baking paint, and the surface quality of the enamel shell should all meet the standard requirements.
