Common faults of gas stove

Feb 18, 2022

It can be said that gas stoves are closely related to our lives. We cannot do without gas stoves when boiling water and cooking. Because it is an electrical product that is often used, there are often such or other small faults and faults in the trial process. In our daily life, it is necessary to learn some methods of electrical self-checking. What the author brings to you is the gas stove Common problems and solutions, let's pay attention to them together.

Ignition failure

If the valve in front of the stove is not opened, it will cause ignition failure. Before ignition, check whether the valve in front of the stove is opened. Because moving the cooker will cause the connecting pipe of the cooker to be kinked and flattened, or because the gas contains a lot of condensate and the hose is blocked, the gas source is blocked, and the ignition fails. Hose can troubleshoot. After the gas stove has just been replaced with the connecting hose, due to the air mixed in the tube, it will cause a temporary ignition failure. After several ignitions, the air in the tube can be purged and the ignition can be successful. For users who use electric pulse ignition, the main reasons for ignition failure are:

(1) The battery voltage is insufficient. Generally, the service life of the battery is half a year to one year, and the battery should be replaced in time;

(2) The high-voltage output wire is broken down or cracked, causing leakage, and the fault can be eliminated by replacing the new wire;

(3) The electrode needle fails to ignite due to too much fouling and weak discharge. It should be cleaned frequently to keep the electrode needle clean;

(4) If the distance between the electrode needle and the ignition bracket is improper, the discharge will be weak or not discharged, and the distance should be adjusted to 3-4mm;

(5) The igniter circuit board is damaged and should be replaced in time;

(6) Piezoelectric ceramic lighters generally have a relatively long service life and can be fired continuously for more than 30,000 times, but during the service life, there will also be a phenomenon of no fire;

(7) The hammer spring hits the piezoelectric ceramics weakly and cannot generate sparks, so the spring should be replaced;

(8) The ignition mechanism is loose and unable to ignite, then tighten the mechanism components;

(9) Due to the dirt on the electrode, the distance between the electrode and the grounding discharge terminal is offset, which makes it impossible to ignite. You can adjust the distance between the electrode and the terminal to 3-4mm by wiping the electrode and tighten it to eliminate the fault;

(10) For a cooker with a flameout protection device, the flame will go out when the knob is released after successful ignition, because the device is in working state at this time, and the knob can be released after the gas burns for a few seconds.
